Cool & Hip and Beautiful spot to eat and drink - Aire Libre
Last night I met us with 2 of my friends that are two of THE best architects in Buenos Aires. Leonardo Militello and Fernando Hitzig from HMA Architects. And one of my very good clients John that retained us is late 2023 to purchase 2 new construction (pozo units) in Buenos Aires.
It was finally good to meet John because we chat on WhatsApp almost every day for the past year. He hired us to buy 2 new properties. One they are building now and one is already finished and his apartment is already in the Top 1% of all Airbnbs in Buenos Aires. That is a complicated feat to accomplish. His new apartment is being built and will be done by January 2027.
It is always great meeting a client face-to-face for the first time because many just hire me online and we never meet face to face. John is staying in his property that we purchased, furnished and manage.
The night was a highlight for me and very special because Leo and Fernando recounted how I changed their life because of all my activity in Buenos Aires after the corralito. They fled to Spain after the corralito because there was no future in Argentina. But because my firm was buying so many properties, they moved back to Buenos Aires. They were just getting started and we give them all of their first projects.
They told me how I truly changed their life and I couldn't be more proud of them now winning international award after award.
We closed the place down until 1:30 AM reminiscing about life and talking about my screenplay for Netflix on the autobiography. They were amazed with "3 Years to Live" and wanted an advance copy of several chapters.
When I was purchasing hundreds of properties in Buenos Aires, I needed good talented, ethical and honest architects to design and renovate and furnish properties in Buenos Aires.
We sold 90% of our properties in 2017/2018 but we started buying again in July 2023 and now we are buying many large PH properties and we are retaining HMA to transform all of these properties again.
And keeping in traditional to posting prices of restaurant meals while I am in Buenos Aires this was more reasonably priced.
We went to Aire Libre, a restaurant that HMA Architects designed. The place is very beautiful. We drank and ate until we couldn't anymore. We were there from 8 PM until 1:30 AM when it closed. Just drinking, laughing, and sharing old memories and looking forward to creating new memories. The 4 of us had a few cocktails, 2 bottles of wine, tons of appetizers, each had an entreee and we shared 2 desserts. Also several bottles of water, and a few coffees.
Everyone grabbed for the check but I insisted as it was a special night and their story moved me and I just retained their firm to renovate an amazing PH in Palermo Holllywood. All of that food and drinks for only $174.05 USD + tip.
