Food & Drink Pizza Restaurants in Buenos Aires - What are some of your favorite pizza places in Buenos Aires, Argentina?

Funny how many say Argentina has the worst pizza and some say they love it.

Banking What is going on with the Blue dollar? Why is it going down?

What will happen to the exchange rate if they end currency controls? Won't the peso collapse?

Medical Healthcare medical monthly premiums are going to get increased!

I still can't get over the inflation there. 6% a month inflation blows my mind. 200% increases on anything in less than a year is mind boggling.

Be careful lots of counterfeit 2,000 peso bills floating out there

But isn't 2,000 pesos still worth around $1.75 dollars? How will they make change. Seems like coins are worth nothing too there. So not sure how they will make so much change.

Is buying a property and listing a fake price normal in Buenos Aires?

I read that mortgages were starting in Argentina. In the United States almost everyone uses loans to buy. And no way we can get around this with the banks. The same thing will probably eventually happen in Argentina. I would not think you can list fake prices once banks are involved.

Banking What is going on with the Blue dollar? Why is it going down?

I have never been to a country where there were currency restrictions or an official and unofficial rate. Sounds strange.

How truly heartbreaking. I saw the in concert many years ago. I just saw people leaving vile reviews for the hotel where he died. https://nypost.com/2024/10/17/entertainment/hotel-where-liam-payne-fell-flooded-with-vile-reviews-mocking-his-death/

Newcomer Mosquitoes in Buenos Aires during the summer?

I hate hate hate mosquitos. Generally mosquitos wouldn't be bad unless there is a Dengue outbreak!

Newcomer A normal day for a young person in Argentina

There are a lot of Argentines here in Spain. I was surprised but many have left the country as they couldn't find jobs there or the jobs paid very little. The recession sounds very bad there. Friends living in BA told me that most of their friends want to move to Spain or other countries in the...

    Newcomer Renting in Argentina

Just make sure you note this. My friends did a year contract with the owner and all the listings they checked the tenant pays for the monthly condo fees and all utilities. I think all the long term rentals will do that unless maybe you go through Airbnb where everything seems to be included...

Sounds like Milei's approval ratings are starting to go down

This is what I don't understand. One day I read the poverty is getting worse. Then the next day I will read another article that says the poverty is actually improving. It is difficult to make heads or tails of this. Which side is right?

Argentina: Inflation Resumes Its Decline, But . . .

It sounds good that inflation is back to 2021 levels but is that really anything to write home about? I thought 2021 was a really horrible year. :ROFLMAO: People keep talking about how inflation is going down but my friends there are saying the opposite. They are going to leave Argentina and...

Banking What is going on with the Blue dollar? Why is it going down?

The question is how does anyone know the right time to stop messing around with the peso? I don't understand the argument with knowing what it is fairly valued at if someone is intervening. Seems like it's all speculation which I guess is what this all boils down to. Is there any case study or...

Is crime getting worse? Is safety getting more complicated during this recession?

Reminder to myself. Don't wear my Make Argentina Great Again t-shirt to a rally for the other side. Check.

Does anyone else find it strange Argentina still thinks they won the Falklands War?

Maybe Argentina will get the Falkland Islands back someday after all. https://derechadiario.com.ar/politica/mondino-aseguro-que-argentina-recuperara-su-soberania-plena-sobre-las-islas-malvinas

Best telos (sex hotels) in Buenos Aires?

I met up with some girls from Buenos Aires here in Spain and they were joking about these. They were explaining them to me. Great idea although I would be mortified if I was in the lobby and ran into someone I knew. Sounds like it could put some spice into a relationship. I would go to one of...

Argentina Unveiled Mandatory Registry For Bitcoin And Crypto Platforms

Do you know anything about USDT @StatusNomadicus? My friends down in BA are mostly using that to transfer in and get cash at the cuevas but they said there is something changing with the laws to make it tougher on USDT? Why is Argentina so gung ho on USDT vs. others?
