I really really really realy want to thank all of you that talked me out of coming to Buenos Aires this month. I can't even imagine the pungent smells and bad odors in the street right now. I probably would have had to buy a ticket to leave. My nose is so sensitive to bad smells.

You are lucky @FuturoBA! I worry about the slightest of things like encountering poop on sidewalks on my Airbnb lockbox now. People will find something to complain about. Still, if the President's sister rushed off to apologize it probably is a sign that the government looks at it as an issue.

I saw some article the other day in the USA from Milei that said something about the exchange rate would be 3,000 to $1 if it wasn't for his Economic Minister. So the exchange rate is heading to 3,000 to $1? That would be great for my upcoming trip. Would make things much cheaper.

I haven't been to the forum in a while as I decided to go to Spain for the summer. I'm coming to BA in October. The exchange rate is nuts! Just a few months ago it was 1,000 to $1. Now I see it's almost 1,500 to $1. Great! Hopefully by the time I come it's 2,000 to $1.

I I heard it's also very cold in Buenos Aires now. I'm glad I didn't go down there this month. My friend told me it's supposed to be the coldest temperatures in many years. Hopefully this will kill all those mosquitos!

Thanks @Uncle Wong for confirming what my friends there mentioned. I also asked a few other people and they said it's a bit far off the beaten path for their tastes. My friends are near Palermo Hollywood and they really love it. They said Belgrano is too far out.

Many people feel for Ukrainians. I know I do. But many also are against sending billions and billions of dollars when we don't know what it's being spent on. Feel like we have enough problems in the US that aren't being dealt with.
