    Apple Pay at Coto?

This is exactly what my friend down there said. She does the same thing as you Darksider415. She uses US passport card which is a formal government ID that people seem to all accept and she said the same about her USA Mastercard on the black machines. What % of machines down there accept Apple...

Politics Thread: President Javier Milei - Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) in real-time

Half the time I see videos and news on him I think he is a genius. The other 50% I think he is mentally ill. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I'm not sure which yet. But I guess time will tell.

Apartment Rental Record increase in expenses in CABA: They rose almost 22% in April - Infobae

How do locals even budget or deal with 80% increase from one month to the next. Here in the USA most of my friends live paycheck to paycheck. There is NO room for anything more and many use their credit cards to make it to the next month. How does someone plan for 80% increase from one month...

Anyone been to this Mexican place with the huge burritos? - Nacha Tex Mex in Olivos

Food here is so disgusting at the fast food level. And even Starbucks is all super sugary drinks. At least hopefully your food is better for you there but surprising to see these supersize burritos in Buenos Aires. I am looking forward to avoiding this type of food.

Buenos Aires Subway’s Heavily Subsidized Fares Set to Quadruple

I do think sometimes things like public transportation shouldn't necessarily be a money maker for governments. I think it's subsidized in lots of places around the world. I know they are desperate to fix the issues but too much too soon probably will cause social problems. I saw this on PBS...

Help! My tourist extension visa was denied today

My uneducated and worthless guess is that the government cares more about the tourism income. My friends have been living in BA the past few months. They aren't looking to necessarily live there forever but just digital nomads and a few are overstaying and a few are traveling around South...

Official Thread on Corruption in Argentina - Milei Administration Cleaning up house

It seems like every day from the USA we hear about the massive corruption that President Milei and his team are uncovering. I thought it would be a good idea to have one thread where all the corruption is being discovered. Everyone can feel free to post threads of things they see online so it...

Politics More revelations of the extortion case against picketers: awards, punishments and the mystery of the $54,448 - Infobae

I don't understand why they need this structure? Why did they set this up in the first place? Nothing in Argentina seems to make sense and it's no wonder they have so many problems. I don't pretend to understand Argentina but daily I read about fraud, fraud and more fraud by the government...
