Banking What is going on with the Blue dollar? Why is it going down?

What a roller coaster. Just seeing the rapid changes over a few months time can make your head spin.

Real Estate Sales It is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Buenos Aires to buy and with properties of all prices - La Nacion Propiedades

Thanks @Uncle Wong for confirming what my friends there mentioned. I also asked a few other people and they said it's a bit far off the beaten path for their tastes. My friends are near Palermo Hollywood and they really love it. They said Belgrano is too far out.

    Newcomer Mosquito invasion in BA

That is wonderful news. Hopefully this winter will kill all of them. I see all these other videos of a lot of snowfall over parts of Argentina. Hopefully you all have a very cold spell that kills all of them.

I guess ratings weren't that good? Or maybe she decided to make her own Only Fans account. 😂🤣

Medical Healthcare medical monthly premiums are going to get increased!

Welcome to how it is in the USA. We pay huge payments for medical care, have co-payments and big deductibles each year. Sounds like you guys are heading down that same road.

Argentina and Ukraine working on joint weapons? Is this true?

Many people feel for Ukrainians. I know I do. But many also are against sending billions and billions of dollars when we don't know what it's being spent on. Feel like we have enough problems in the US that aren't being dealt with.

I don't care what they say about me as long as they spell the name of the country Argentina right.

I can see both sides but I think @GlasgowJohn made a great point about the awards. They sound like they are partisan awards and there is an agenda. They are using Javier Milei to get exposure and PR for their side. I guess he has to be careful about too many of these events. Especially when...

Real Estate Sales It is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Buenos Aires to buy and with properties of all prices - La Nacion Propiedades

It looks like a great neighborhood. My friend said a lot of families live there. But I heard for a typical tourist coming down it's too far out from many things. What do you recommend? Is it too far out if most of the things I will go to are in Palermo? It seems a bit far outside with traffic...

Politics Having single-digit inflation is a good start

This is great news! I see the blue dollar is at 1,300 to $1 USD which is great news! My friend there said there is talk it will keep going up which is great for my trip. I hope once I get there things will be much cheaper and inflation will have stopped going up so much.

Homicide, robbery and petty theft on the rise in Greater Buenos Aires

:ROFLMAO: Yes I know it's not as bad as it sounds. My friend has been down there for months and has survived. Although you can admit @Sunny reading all of this is a bit comical. But I know what you mean when it's not that bad. My friend said she has noticed a pick up in crime. Many of her local...

Homicide, robbery and petty theft on the rise in Greater Buenos Aires

Yikes! Isn't that neighborhood just north of Palermo Hollywood? Colegiales isn't a bad neighborhood is it? If they are breaking car windows while you are driving I would have to believe they would just rob you in the street if I have an iPhone? This is surprising to hear as I heard it's safe...

Newcomer Everything You Need to Know About the June 20th and 21st Holidays in Argentina 🩵🤍🩵

Thanks! But wasn't yesterday just a holiday in Argentina too? My friend said it was a federal holiday yesterday. You have 3 holidays in one week?? It seems like you have a lot of holidays there. Every few weeks my friend tells me it's a holiday there!

These Are The 5 Most Popular Digital Nomad Destinations Right Now According To Travelers - Travel of Path

Are there a lot of digital nomads in Buenos Aires these days? Last year I read more articles about it but I don't read so much about it. My friends told me they see lots of expats there but I don't read too much about it now.

Worst things about Buenos Aires besides dog poop?

Yes! I don't get this. @Blockchain I haven't been to BA yet. I had to delay my first trip because of the mosquito infestation there and the Dengue plague that was going on earlier this year. I changed my trip to October. I read a few of your posts. What are your favorite things that you have...

Politics Riots in Congress During the Debate on the Bases Law: They Are Not Protesters, They Are Savages

What I don't get is them destroying things like benches and things. Destroying your own city seems nuts. But I guess @Sunny you are saying these people are from outside of Buenos Aires so maybe they don't care.
