Thank you Argentina on behalf of all Russians that moved here to Buenos Aires!

Russians are some of my favourite people in the world! Every Russian I've met has been great. Like 99.99% of people on earth they deserve a better government

I think the world will be hell in 20 years the way technology is going I don't see any other ending. Drones hovering above us monitoring every thing each individual does with face tracking. "Pre crime" arrests of suspicious people like that movie Minority Report. Cashless society where every...

    Be careful guys.....

I can give some light on this, the mayor of Medillin is very "anti gringo" and there is currently a major narrative being pushed that a flood of gringos are coming into the city, renting airbnbs and then using them for under age prostitution. Whether this is true or just a cynical political...

Worst things about Buenos Aires besides dog poop?

I saw the rescue helicopter about 4 times, if you look at google maps where autopista 25 de mayo starts just after Puerto Madero there is a whole bunch of streets converging onto the highway, many of them heading up with little visibility. The motorbikes would come racing up onto the highway...

Worst things about Buenos Aires besides dog poop?

This reminded me of living in an apartment in San Telmo overlooking the highway "25 de mayo." Whenever there was a crash they would block off the highway and a rescue helicopter would land on the road to transport the victim (almost always a motorbike rider) to hospital. The first time it...

Does it still make sense to retire in Buenos Aires on fixed income?

You can still get a kilo of delicious steak at my local Jumbo for like $6 USD so who cares about Don Julio. If you are basing your decision of where to retire on that you are in for a world of suffering
