Medical Advice for My Spine Surgery and Hospital Stay at Hospital Italiano

Hi! At the end of November, I’ll be having major spine surgery in Buenos Aires, and I’m looking for some recommendations and advice:

  • An English-speaking psychologist who practices CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and/or DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and ideally EMDR, for my husband, who has been a huge support throughout my years with chronic illness.
  • Any tips on being an inpatient at Hospital Italiano. If anyone knows someone who works there or has experience with the hospital and can help me with a few questions, I’d really appreciate it!
Thank you so much!

Hospital Italiano can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but once you’re inside, the level of care and the facilities are excellent. I spent several days there last summer, and the staff and treatment were top-notch. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and you’ll be in very good hands.

Hospital Italiano is excellent, from the facilities to every professional working there. I was admitted for a minor surgery, and honestly, I had a great experience. You won’t have any issues. Best of luck with your surgery!
