Newcomer Amazon - Shipping for just 5 USD

Amazon has launched a promotion for shipping to Argentina for 5 USD, though it's not applicable to all products. Still, it's a great opportunity to buy things that aren’t available here. I usually buy books and have never had any issues. I’d like to know if anyone has taken advantage of this promotion to purchase anything other than books.

I just read this today. It is saying people getting the shipments have to have a level 3 tax key from AFIP. What about people that are tourists or just foreigners living there? On Amazon it shows you can upload a passport but will we have problems if we ship something via Amazon to Argentina?

My friend there ordered something from Amazon before. She doesn't have a DNI and used her passport. I think it was just a shirt. It arrived but she did get hit up for a little bit more customs tax when it came. But this was 2 months ago. I'm not sure if something changed. This new promotion just sounds like they added $5 flat shipping to some items. But it sounds like not much else has changed.
