Any "Black Friday" sales here in Argentina? I saw they already had Cyber Monday

I know Argentina doesn't have any Thanksgiving here but do they have any Black Friday sales like the USA? Anyone know if there are any scores? Also, now that import taxes are going away how quickly do you think prices will be marked down?

We just had cyber monday a few weeks ago and there were some bargains. It was a record sales day. I don't think they have Black Friday here or at least nothing special. I asked around but people said nothing special. I'm hoping prices of things plummet once December rolls around with them getting rid of some import taxes.

Yes, it is funny sometimes how they copy marketing from the USA only they don't translate to the low prices like we see Stateside.

That's a great deal. I enjoyed my trip over to Uruguay while I was in BA but Uruguay was very expensive. Now my friends tell me that BA is more expensive than Uruguay!

Here in Argentina, Black Friday is this Friday, November 29. While there may be some deals, as Betsy Ross says, the discounts aren't as significant as those in the USA.
