Are foreign credit cards accepted to buy bus tickets online? Help!

I am trying to buy a bus ticket online. My local friends told me that I could go to this website below to buy bus tickets to travel in Argentina but I am trying to check out with my foreign credit card from the USA and it doesn't seem to go through. Is the system down or do they not accept foreign credit cards?

On that website you have to use a local debit or credit card. Foreign credit cards don't work on that website. My friend that was recently visiting paid with her credit card on another site with Mercado Pago with her foreign credit card. I will ask her which she used.

I have also tried using Mercado Pago on this website below and it wouldn't accept my foreign credit card either. If anyone has any other data points it would be appreciated.

Some of these websites don't accept them online but you can sometimes call in if they have a number and a foreign credit card will work over the phone. I was told they process the payments differently. My sister in law purchased with this company below calling them and paying over the phone and they gave her a reference # which she gave at the bus terminal and they gave her a ticket.
