Argentina is considering the possibility of leaving the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Paris Agreement.

This consideration arises in the context of aligning Argentine foreign policy with that of the United States under Donald Trump's administration.

Review of International Participation: The Argentine government is conducting a comprehensive review of its participation in international organizations following Donald Trump's assumption of the presidency in the United States.

Ongoing Analysis: The Casa Rosada is studying the legal implications that would arise from leaving these entities.Scope of the Analysis: In addition to the WHO and the Paris Agreement, the analysis includes participation in the World Trade Organization (WTO), the United Nations, and Mercosur.

Motivation: The expressed intention is to "support the political direction indicated by the United States."Government Position: Although no definitive decision has been made yet, the government maintains a stance of seeking alignment with U.S. policy.

Criticism of International Organizations: President Milei plans to criticize the economic, social, and diversity policies of international organizations in his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Proposal for a New Alliance: The Argentine government is considering promoting a new "Conservative League of Nations" that would include the United States, Israel, and Italy. This potential decision reflects a significant shift in Argentine foreign policy, seeking greater alignment with Trump's administration and a more critical stance toward certain international organizations.

Milei is going all on on his relationship with the US.
And against woke-ism. These global institutions got so consumed with instituting ESG and DEI policies, while there's so much suffering among the people they're supposed to be helping. They needed a serious kick in the pants to get refocused on their core missions, which is funded by taxpayers around the world (especially the US).

Agree! It is what the USA needed. It has gotten so out of control the wokeism. That is something nice about Argentina. We never had that.
