Experts estimate that with a new bathroom and kitchen, a used home appreciates its listing value by up to 20 percent.
One of the main drivers of this trend to renovate living spaces is the change in lifestyle imposed by the 2020 health crisis. With the rise of teleworking and education that maintains distance at the university level, it has led to having more functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
In addition, inflation, current restrictions in the exchange market; and the fluctuation of the real estate market have made many people choose to invest in improving their homes.
In the post-pandemic, the feeling is that everyone is looking to live as well as possible and the so-called YOLO (You Only Live Once) has grown.
