Be careful walking over some loose grates over the city. I have walked over some of these and they felt very loose. A man died yesterday walking over a cover and falling.

I wondered if this ever happens. Just walking down random streets in Palermo I would walk and have janky sidewalks that flew up. They weren't level and popped up. I always avoided grates or metal plates as I wasn't sure if it was safe and reading this article I know I made the right decision!

I don't think they know when these types of things are going to happen. Someone just does a shoddy job of putting it up or it's done at the end of the day. I'm not sure if they have OSHA here in Argentina but things are generally sloppier and more unorganized here.
