Bis Bistró in Recoleta

earlyretirement

Another great Meal at one of my favorite restaurants in Recoleta- Bis Bistró.

Address: Vicente López 1661 Local 12

Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/GnCVk24ZCQJqZCBcA

One of my favorite places is Bis Bistró. It is located in one of my favorite tiny passages in the city. You would walk by it and not know it is there.

It is a Michelin Guide-rated restaurant in the Bib Gourmand category with good quality, good value cooking.

Very chic restaurants with tables inside and outside and the staff is always great. Great wines too. (Actually was surprised the wine prices went up so much but the food prices were very reasonable)Went with my wife and best female friend (my former CFO). $171.42 USD 187,500 pesos but 55,000 was a bottle of wine so you can see how reasonable it is for the 3 of us.

2 orders of Mollejas which was the best I've had in BA, Proveleta, 2 waters, 1 Lemonade Jar, bottle of red wine, Huge plate of Ojo de bife, french fries with fried egg on top, Tomato salad, Coconut Flan.

I love this place! I haven't been back in a while. With the higher prices I have been avoiding dining out so much even though I love food. You convinced me. I am going to come here for lunch. They have great lunch specials here. Or at least they used to. Thanks for the review and especially the menu to see current prices.

I am going to add this to my list! That street looks really cool. I walked by that street a few times and did not know it existed. The food looked delicious and prices are not bad at all.

This place is a gem. I hate posts like yours earlyretirement. I'm a selfish pig but once they get more popular prices inevitably go up. It is getting harder and harder to find really good and affordable places.
