Buenos Aires Property Prices: Sales prices had the highest rise in the last 7 Years

The monthly increase in February was the highest since March 2018, which shows that the real estate market in Argentines continues to go up as we forecasted it would.

Real estate prices bottomed out in mid-2023 and since then it continues to go up. According to Zonaprop, the sales prices increased 1.3% in February, a rise that hasn't been recorded since March 2018, when the monthly increase was 1.76%.

The m2 in listed properties went up 1.9% in the first two months of this year and 8.1% in the last 12 months. That price is the largest Y-o-Y increase since November 2018.

Puerto Madero is still the most expensive neighborhood in Buenos Aires with an average price per square meter of $6,055 USD. It's followed by Palermo, with $3,289 USD and Nuñez at $3,093 USD m2.

As as we posted before, the January sales numbers were terrific with a growth of 93.7% year-over-year growth.

All of this is in line with our modeling and forecasting that we provided in mid-2023 to all of our investors/clients. And it will keep going up.

Love to see prices go up now that I already bought 2 places there. The values on both of them keep going up. I plan to just hold these forever no matter what prices do but it is a good feeling to see them go up.

I don't know how these locals do it paying cash for properties. Almost all the purchases are all cash. Just goes to show you how much money is here if everyone is paying cash for their properties.
