The Buenos Aires Tango Orchestra returns to the stage of the Parque Centenario Amphitheater to begin its annual concert season. It will do so this Friday, with free admission until the venue's capacity is exhausted. The repertoire will include the best tango classics, such as Naranjo en flor, Uno and Ciudad triste, among others
After a brief vacation break, this Friday, March 1 at 8 p.m., the group directed by teachers Juan Carlos Cuacci and NĂ©stor Marconi, will perform a repertoire full of the best tango hits.

The Buenos Aires Tango Orchestra , an organization dependent on the General Directorate of Music of the Buenos Aires Government, was born in 1980. It is directed by Maestros NĂ©stor Marconi and Juan Carlos Cuacci.
Awards: Gold Record for En vivo en el ColĂłn (2001), Konex Foundation Diploma of Merit as a Tango Ensemble (1995 and 2005). Nominations for the 2011 Latin Grammys for his works 30 Años, Homenaje a Cátulo Castillo and AnĂbal Troilo; Latin Grammy for Best Tango Album 2015, Carlos Gardel Awards for Best Instrumental Orchestra Album 2016, both recognitions for Tribute to Astor Piazzolla. In 2021, La Orquesta released the CD Homenaje a Carlos GarcĂa.
JesĂşs Hidalgo was born in Bragado, province of Buenos Aires. There, he studied singing and guitar with Jorge MĂłnaco. In 2001 he won the Hugo del Carril Tango Contest in the Male Singing category. Years later he toured with the Sexteto Mayor and with Osvaldo Montes and AnĂbal Arias. He performed in Europe and Asia with the Tango Fire company and performed on prominent Buenos Aires stages with RaĂşl Garello's sextet. Among his solo albums are The Day After and That April.
