Casa del Angel is a fascinating open-air shopping gallery located on Sucre Street, between Arcos and Cuba, in the prestigious Belgrano neighborhood. This place was originally built as the residence of Dr. Carlos Delcasse at the end of the 19th century and has been designed by the renowned architect Pedro Petrocchi. The gallery is known for its beautiful viewing point, from which you can admire a winged female sculpture, resembling an angel, giving it its distinctive name. Currently, under three tall towers, there are stores of the most exclusive fashion brands, such as Lacoste, Newman, Daniel Hetcher and Giesso. In addition to clothing stores, you will also find jewelry stores, restaurants and much more. The elegant front of the gallery features manicured beds with trees, plants and colorful flowers, creating a sophisticated and charming atmosphere. During the Christmas season, the gallery is transformed into a true paradise with dazzling decorations that evoke the magic of European and New York department stores.

If you are looking for a charming place to shop in Buenos Aires, you cannot miss Casa del Angel. This open-air promenade offers an incredible selection of clothing, jewelry and home goods stores. In addition, you will find several cozy cafes where you can rest and enjoy a delicious cake from the famous Mucha patisserie or enjoy a light meal at Le Pain Quotidien. This beautiful apartment building, built on the old Casa del Angel that gave the title to the political novel by Beatriz Guido and its subsequent film adaptation directed by her husband Torre Nilson, is a place full of history and charm. I recommend that you see the film and, to do so, you can purchase it in the specialized film stores on Avenida Corrientes or on a corner near Callao. Don't miss the opportunity to explore this wonderful place and enjoy a day of shopping and gastronomy at Casa del Angel.
