This morning brought the unexpected resignation of Luis Caputo, the president of the Central Bank. The market's response to this news has been overwhelmingly negative, with the peso experiencing a 4% decline.

The more things change the more they stay the same...... I don't think it matters who is in charge at the Central Bank. Argentina is in deep doo doo.

Caputo was a Wall St guy, investors prefer that to someone that has spent most of their life in academics like Sandleris apparently has.

Can't blame investors. There doesn't seem to be a clear plan, it changes by the month.
