The Chinese community welcomes the year 4722, of the Wooden Dragon, and the City will be the scene of events that celebrate the culture of this ancient people. Schedule these dates!

Saturday February 3
In the Parque de Las Naciones square (Av. Figueroa Alcorta and Sucre), from 12 to 8 p.m., you will find more than 40 gastronomic, craft and cultural stands. It will be a good opportunity to try exclusive Chinese cuisine dishes, such as kung pao (spicy marinated chicken) or jiaozi (a type of thin dough dumplings filled with minced meat or vegetables). Also to buy decorative objects, feng shui, clothing and much more. There will also be no shortage of examples of calligraphy, tea ceremonies and talks on traditional Chinese medicine, so emblematic of that culture.
This year, you will be able to enjoy the Dragon dances, to augur good fortune, and will be accompanied by the Chinese Lions, martial arts exhibitions for adults and children, Chi Kung and Tai Chi for health. There will also be concerts of ancient instruments such as the Guzhen, drums and erhu, as well as traditional dances.



Sunday February 4
On Dock 1 of Puerto Madero, from 12 to 6 p.m., there will be a Dragon Boat race. It is a nautical sport that expresses an ancient cultural manifestation. This activity arrived in Argentina in 2018 and the first competition was in 2019. Today the discipline has more thousands of followers and this is the South American country with the greatest development in this discipline.



Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11
Chinatown welcomes the new year with everything. From 12 to 8 p.m., there will be activities: ancient Chinese culture show, Dragon dance, Chinese calligraphy, traditional instruments and typical dances.
