As I mentioned several times throughout this year, salaries will continue to go up.

Salaries outside of collective bargaining agreements in Argentina for 2025 show a positive trend, with projections expected to exceed anticipated inflation. According to various studies and surveys conducted among private sector companies, the following key aspects are anticipated:

The consulting firm HuCap reports that 24% of companies that have already defined their budget project an average increase of 52.29% for salaries outside of collective agreements in 2025.

Other surveys, such as the one conducted by Mercer, indicate that companies estimate a 48% increase for the market median.

Some projections are even more optimistic, reaching up to a 56% average increase (53% median) according to Mercer's TISA salary trends survey.

These salary increase projections are above inflation expectations for 2025:

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts 45% inflation for Argentina in 2025.

The Market Expectations Survey (REM) of the Central Bank indicates an expected year-on-year inflation of 35%.

The 2025 Budget Bill presented by the government anticipates inflation of 18.3%.

Great news although I wonder how this will affect pricing on consumers? Read about many companies already struggling and having to lay off employees because they can't afford them now. And things are still slower so I wonder if this will keep pushing prices up?

This is what I am wondering too. Companies are already struggling so I wonder if they have to keep increasing salaries it seems like an endless loop of having to raise prices. Hopefully this will stabilize. It can't be easy for companies to give this kind of raise. I doubt they can keep raising their prices higher and keep having customers. Many will just close down.
