While the Senate prepares to begin debate tomorrow in committees on the shortened omnibus law and the fiscal package, the ruling party has already begun to feel pressure from the Casa Rosada to rule this Thursday and sanction the projects on May 16 . This situation generated concern in the upper house about potential complications regarding loose votes that, for now, are far from libertarian wishes.
“They want to push a lot without really knowing how things are here. It is too fast and although it is understood that Deputies had four long months, we cannot forget that, in the extraordinary sessions, we rushed the Single Paper Ballot and it got stuck. And if we agitate this, we expose ourselves to changes in the laws,” they acknowledged to Infobae from the bench led by Ezequiel Atauche from Jujuy , who since last Wednesday began calling senators from different blocks.
From the beginning, valid interlocutors from the ruling party floated the possibility of extending the treatment for another week. It is not an option for Javier Milei , who does not want to risk a vote close to the decisive May Pact, on the 25th of this month.

Weeks ago, both rejected the mega Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) that deregulates the economy. Furthermore, the second seethes with fury over the always necessary - and never carried out - review of the generous regime of electronic devices in Tierra del Fuego that is proposed in one of the initiatives. It is clear, at this point, that other legislators on that commission will sign, but with dissent.

He just wants to be governor and acts based on that. He doesn't care about anything about the rest ,” a legislator confided to this medium. The man from Santa Cruz threatened for weeks that he would hardly vote for the Libertarian Government and that he would not vote for the political ambassadors proposed by Milei either. The most sensitive case, on the verge of knockout, is the reinstatement of Profits. That would mean, at a minimum, a return to Deputies in the second review of the fiscal package. La Libertad Avanza will seek to avoid major problems with the delegated powers, some items of the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI), the pension area, money laundering and Personal Assets. Another fun point will be related to internal taxes on tobacco, after the still discussed and now controversial vote a few days ago in Deputies. There, Martín Menem 's limitations could lead to a greater mess not only for the ruling party, but for Milei himself.
Meanwhile, Kirchnerism would make a decision in the next few hours to repeat a request for a special session not validated - it has regulatory power - by Villarruel. What is most interesting there is the project to roll back energy rates promoted by Peronist Florencia López from Rioja . The Frente de Todos does have a point of contact with other blocks -UCR, Unidad Federal and Tagliaferri-, which are also waiting for a response to a request to go to the campus due to the budgetary situation of the universities. Several open flanks for an ruling party of seven members and on which, from the Casa Rosada, they demand Formula 1 speed.
