Credit is starting to make its way to Argentina more and more

I have seen the news of mortgages coming and more people applying for them. This is good as some friends told me that credit wasn't too common here in Argentina. I came across this article.

Great that they are offering loans up to 20,000,000 pesos but wow those interest rates are nuts. 90% a year interest?

No thanks on that loan. But I guess when inflation is 200% a year....

Those interest rates are very dear but so is the inflation here. Many people don't have any other option but to take on debt as they don't make enough to pay the bills.
