Deregulation in Argentina: Milei Takes “Deep Chainsaw” to Bureaucracy and Red Tape - Cato Institute

Great article by the Cato Institute about how important deregulation is if Argentina is going to be successful.

This is one of the best things that President Milei and his team have done. His team has been implementing about 2 deregulations per DAY on average since he took office.

Central to this agenda is a comprehensive deregulation initiative aimed at dismantling the extensive regulatory framework that has historically hindered economic growth.

LLA really needs a win in October if they want to keep on with the progress in deregulation. If they aren't successful I think this goes nowhere especially after Milei's special powers end. I believe it's limited the amount of these super powers he has.

Part of the reason why Milei's approval ratings are still high. Many people feel the progress. Especially the youth that are ordering stuff daily online.
