Newcomer Driver's license

I've been driving here for a bit, and I applied for my International Driver's License online. There are several websites where you can get it by uploading a photo of your current license and a picture of yourself, along with the payment. They will send it to your address in Argentina within 1 to 2 weeks.

Could you please send me the website?

If you’re visiting as a tourist, you don’t need an Argentinian license. However, if you decide to get residency, then you’ll need to take the local driving test to obtain an Argentinian license. Don’t worry, though, it’s a straightforward process.

I posted about this before. If you don't have a car here and only occasionally rent cars you can probably just get away with using your regular driver's license from the USA or home country. I have been living here for many years and don't own a car. I only rent cars maybe 2 times a year when I travel in Argentina. Originally I was told by my credit card company that I use to rent the cars that it wouldn't apply if I wasn't "traveling". So you may want to check your policy.

But many do the same thing if they don't own a car here and only occasionally rent.
