Food & Drink El Preferido de Palermo

We loved the food. There are no reservations so you have to wait for them to come by. I recommend that you don't move because it flows faster than the hostess tells you. While you wait they offer you an empanada and fresh water. Let the waiter recommend you will not be disappointed.
It was a sad day when El Preferido de Palermo closed. The iconic Palermo bodegón had survived since 1952. Fortunately, it reopened under the watchful eye of Don Julio restaurateur Pablo Rivero, who not only restored the entire space, but called in chefs Guido Tassi and Martin Lukesch to run the kitchen. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
