One by one, the properties that Banco Ciudad will auction off in September

Among the properties being auctioned this month through Banco Ciudad, there is a house at Pedro Morán 3359, Villa Devoto.

Banco Ciudad 's auctions are back on the scene with new proposals, as seven properties will be auctioned off in the city of Buenos Aires on Wednesday , September 11. These auctions are characterized by their low prices for those looking to buy a home and by their payment in pesos .

The prices of the different homes are in dollars and start from a base market value of US$31,500 to US$90,000. These prices depend on the neighborhoods covered by this auction: Villa Devoto, San Telmo, Balvanera and Nueva Pompeya. But it is important to remember that payment can be made in pesos.

1) Villa Devoto​

Villa Devoto has two properties in this upcoming auction. One of them (pictured above) is located at Pedro Morán 3359 , has three rooms, a base price of US$90,000 and a security deposit of US$2,700 . What are auctions for vacant inheritances and how to participate?​

The auctions of real estate with vacant inheritances in the City of Buenos Aires are carried out at Banco Ciudad on behalf of and by order of the Attorney General of the City of Buenos Aires, and are characterized by the diversity of properties offered, which may include lots, apartments, PHs, houses, offices, commercial premises, undivided parts and garages. Banco Ciudad carries out the appraisal, exhibition and sale by public auction using the online modality , 100% digital. The income obtained from these sales is destined by law to the Permanent Education Fund.



Interested parties must register up to 48 business hours before the start of the auction on the Banco Ciudad website. Participation requires a security deposit corresponding to a percentage of the base value of the property to be purchased (an amount that will be returned in full if the bidder does not make a bid or if the bid is not successful) . The successful bidder may request possession and pay the balance of the price in advance after signing the sales contract.

Seems like a GREAT deal if you can actually snag these. I know a guy that does this in California buying up properties from the courthouse. He said it's almost impossible now though.. Not sure of the process in BA.
