Opened in 1876, the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo stands as a verdant oasis nestled in the heart of Buenos Aires, a mere 10-minute drive from the iconic Obelisk. The structure's Official Grandstand and La Paris Restaurant, acknowledged as Architectural Heritage of the City, proudly retain the original façade envisioned by esteemed French architect Louis Faure Dujarric. As the preeminent racetrack in Latin America, the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo hosts year-round competitions featuring Thoroughbred Racing Horses (SPC), set against the backdrop of one of the city's most remarkable green landscapes. Embracing inclusivity, the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo welcomes the public daily, offering free admission and an array of attractions, including diverse dining options, slot rooms, shows, fairs, concerts, a shopping center, and a multitude of events throughout the year.

It is a very nice and spacious place to visit, walk and tour.

It has a gaming casino. Inside the casino there is a very good food casino, where in addition, for consuming there they give you credits to play in the machines.

The racetrack is very well kept, green lawns and everything is very clean.

It is worth a visit.
