The number of deeds in January was low although seasonality must be taken into account and that they are closures that occurred in the middle of a highly contested presidential election process.
The total number of real estate purchase and sale deeds registered an increase of 1.8% in the first month of 2024 compared to the level of a year before, adding 1,882 records, while the total amount of transactions carried out rose by 244, 4%, with $143,030 million.
Compared to December 2023, acts decreased by 58.7% (Dec 4,560 deeds).
The average amount of the acts was $75,999,357, it grew 238% in one year in pesos,
In January, there were 69 deeds formalized with a mortgage. Therefore, the decrease in that sense is 11.5% compared to the same month last year.
