This is what the President said before a score of businessmen who came to the King David Hotel in Israel to listen to him. He also stated that inflation is decreasing at a "fast" rate.

President Javier Milei stated during a visit to Israel that, with the continued reorganization of the Argentine Central Bank, he could lift the exchange rate hedge before the middle of the year. In his speech in front of 20 businessmen, he highlighted the success of his administration in containing inflation, pointing out that inflation decreased significantly in December, from 30% to 25%.

Milei mentioned that inflation in January would be around 20%, but with a statistical drag of 10%, which indicates a real decrease of 10%. In addition, he highlighted the recomposition of the fiscal accounts and suggested that, if the Central Bank's reorganization measures continue, they could lift the exchange rate hedge by the middle of the year. This would eliminate the excess demand in foreign currency and bonds, which would lead to a fall in interest rates and an increase in economic activity.

When he finished his political catharsis on the Omnibus Law, the President spoke about Israel and its decision to move the Argentine embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and about the need to demand the immediate release of those kidnapped by Hamas during the terrorist attacks of October 7, 2023.

It's good to see that Argentina is being able to make a change!
