Javier Milei is destroying Argentina's economy

There are inaccuracies in this video. The majority of Argentina is not living in poverty. Poverty levels have fallen.
To be fair poverty DID go up after Milei started but they are coming down according to statistics but it is difficult to know what to believe. The salaries have gone up but prices are still going up at a slower pace but I worry about increases. Beef prices skyrocketed last month. I don't understand why it jump up so much. I don't believe the reasons.

It is great to start seeing the international press realize what all of us locally realize!

Milei might not be doing everything right but to pretend that he is doing everything wrong is totally biased. He has brought inflation down. This is the first time in a long time that prices are fairly stable in the supermarket. Still going up but not like before.

Whether the peso is overvalued is another matter but he has done a lot of good and the truth is he is our only option right now. The best hope for Argentina to turn things around.

I would argue that things are not better. Quite terrible if you ask me. The economy is still in recession and probably will stay that way. Foreign investments aren't coming. Milei is scamming investors. His sister is corrupt. And on and on.

The press was so positive before the crypto scandal. Things sure took a turn quickly.
This will pass. Argentines don't really care anything about this scandal. They are ok with their Presidents robbing from others. Just not them. Yes Milei was an idiot to do something like this but the approval ratings are still high. He is still polling about 50% positive so half the people still love him and half hate him.

I do think that this has caused some people to kind of sour on him. There isn't really any big plan in place other than getting the billions from the IMF. The easy cuts have been made. Lots still to do. The toughest part is probably ahead of us now that the easy cuts have been done. Inflation is going back up.

Nothing really seems to have changed with the plan to cut big government and cut down on the regulations but it seems like the government needs a big win in the elections coming up in October.
