Expat Life: Local Discoveries, Global Connections

Like in the "El Robo del Siglo"

I just read that they were discovered because a metal rod was sticking out into the street. That’s how they found the massive tunnel leading to Banco Macro in San Isidro.
Apparently, they had been working on that tunnel for a year.

It seems this tunnel was even better than the one from the "Heist of the Century" at Banco Santander. In fact, the police claimed that this job wasn’t done by just anyone; they’re talking about professional engineers, as it requires very technical knowledge. Plus, it’s been a work and financial investment spanning 9 months, but a simple calculation error was what gave them away. It could be another movie, like "The Heist That Didn’t Happen."

They're finally getting caught two suspects have been arrested for the attempted bank robbery in San Isidro. One's an Argentine living in Entre Ríos, and the other is a Uruguayan guy. They're accused of supposedly helping the gang escape to Uruguay by boat and assisting in their getaway.
