M2 value in the interior of Argentina
Values of used apartments show 11 consecutive quarters of increases. Average interannual increase is almost 11% although they remain at historical minimum values.
During the last quarter, the value per m2 in dollars of all the 11 inland towns that Reporte Inmobiliario usually surveys on a quarterly basis since 2008 appreciated by 2.98% in dollar bills, taking the year-on-year increase to 10.77% and then of 11 consecutive quarters of increases.
Although the evolution has been differential depending on the locality in question, in relation to the maximums recorded in May 2019 for those same localities, the current average value is still 29.16% below said peak. As we have been saying in the latest quarterly reports "the interior of the country was the first to show this recovery of the values measured in dollars after the sharp decline that had occurred since 2021, in fact if you look at the graphic series you can see everything the potential for improvement that would still remain because the values managed to reach a historical minimum measured in banknotes.”
