Madre Rojas - Villa Crespo - It blows Don Julio's out of the water

Madre Rojas is always a great meal. It's over in Villa Crespo and the service is always great here. The food quality is much better than Don Julio at a fraction of the price. Don Julio has gone down over the years. I came here tonight with my wife and we loved our dishes and the quality of the food.

For some great steak and food hit Madre Rojas in Villa Crespo. Fantastic food and service. Mostly locals eating here and get the French fries cooked in tallow de Wagyu. (Noticed many restaurants are using the term Wagyu in their marketing/menus). Many restaurants around the world are in that trend)

The quality was better than Don Julio.

Darn you know all the good spots? You make me so hungry with all your great food reviews. Madre Rojas is one of my favorites. Simpe cooking and very friendly. You are going to get me out of my self exiled restaurant trips. Looks too yummy.

Wow that looks so good! And so true about the wagyu marketing trend, I was in Vietnam recently and noticed a lot of places advertising wagyu pho too.

The world has got caught on the wagyu marketing craze. There is only one area of the world that I know that has true Wagyu and that is Japan. Unless I'm missing something. I will add this place to my rotation for my next trip.
