Javier Milei will travel to Los Angeles to present his economic and political ideas at the Milken Institute

(From Washington, United States) Javier Milei will travel to Los Angeles in May to describe his political and economic ideas at the Milken Institute Global Conference , an annual forum that brings together investors, bankers and CEOs of companies in the United States and the Middle East. Oriente, members of the Biden administration, former officials of Donald Trump's government, and academics from prestigious universities such as Harvard, Hopkins and Columbia.

MIlei is the event's keynote speaker and his presentation will be a continuation of speeches he has already given at the Davos Forum, the Conservative Action Policy Conference (CPAC) and Florida International University (FIU). In Los Angeles there is a lot of interest in listening to the President, who would only travel to the United States for twenty-four hours.

Milei's speeches in Davos, CPAC and Miami have a common thread: defense of the Austrian School, criticism of the role of the Present State, questioning the neoconservatives who try to appease the so-called market failures, condemnation of the regulations that hinder free commerce and contempt for the political class, which it calls caste.

“Free enterprise capitalism is the only tool we have to end hunger, poverty and destitution throughout the entire planet, ” said the president in Davos.

In this ideological context, the President will explain his adjustment plan, making reference to the drop in inflation rates, the increase in the Central Bank's reserves and the rise in bonds, an indicator that always seduces investors. The Milken Institute's global conference is always packed with investors and bankers, looking for business opportunities in emerging countries.

MIlei always advances against the political class, and his speech will not change in Los Angeles. During his presentation in Miami he assured that his election had the appearance of “a black swan with a triple carom” , and it is likely that he will repeat this line that reflects his personal explanation regarding his arrival in Balcarce fifty.

Traveling with the President are Karina Milei, Nicolás Posse, Luis Caputo and Gerardo Werthein

The president will travel on a private flight , a decision he made in Miami when he learned that Iran was attacking Israel with missiles and drones. Milei exercises absolute support for the Israeli state and its right to annihilate Hamas after its terrorist attack on October 7, so on the recommendation of the Military House and the Ministry of Security it was decided that he use a private plane from Buenos Aires to Los Angeles.

Milei will fly alongside the Chief of Staff, Nicolás Posse, the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, and the designated ambassador to the United States, Gerardo Werthein. According to the tentative agenda published by the Milken Institute on its official website, Caputo will also be a speaker at the global conference.

In addition to the president and his Minister of Economy, the Milken Institute also invited IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva as panelists ; Chris Dodd , Joseph Biden's top advisor for Latin America; Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia; Greg Brown, CEO of Motorola; Gianni Infantino , president of FIFA; John Fogerty Singer, former singer of Creedence Clearwater Revival; Ilan Goldfajn , head of the IDB; Jenny Johnson, CEO, Franklin Templeton; Ashton Kutcher, actor and senior partner at Sound Ventures; Theresa May, former British Prime Minister; Steven T. Mnuchin , Trump's former Treasury Secretary and Michael Wirth , CEO of Chevron, among other protagonists of the global village.

The Milken Institute's call has as its leitmotiv “shaping a shared future” , and its explanatory statement reflects the current situation on the international board: “Today we face critical issues, from dangerous geopolitics , to the climate crisis and the complexities of artificial intelligence, where we must examine its potential and its impact on workers, companies and global markets.”
