The Posadas prosecutor warned that the security forces stationed did not hand over the patrol cars that they retained as part of the force measure. The provincial government announced a salary increase that was again rejected

Conflict in Misiones: even without an agreement, the police did not hand over the patrol cars held in the camp

While the salary conflict escalates in Misiones , where provincial police, doctors and teachers are leading parallel claims that this Sunday celebrate 10 days , the investigative prosecutor No. 6 of Posadas, Dr. René Casals , denounced this Saturday that the agents quartered in the capital city They did not comply with the delivery of the patrol cars held in the camp , as the parties had previously agreed.

Meanwhile, and still without an agreement, Governor Hugo Passalacqua published last night the increases for the local security force and explained how the salaries were for each category.

After another attempt at an agreement between the Government and the protesters of the local security force failed on Friday, Dr. Casals gave a brief interview yesterday morning in which he reported that the police officers carrying out the uprising in front of the headquarters of the Radioelectric Command of Regional Unit 1, located at the intersection of República Oriental del Uruguay and Trincheras de San José avenues, reported that one of the spokespersons for the protesters, German Palavecino , did not appear before the court nor comply with the delivery of the patrol cars that had been committed to for this Saturday.

“A record has now been closed, and as was obvious, they did not comply with the delivery of the cell phones that they had said they were going to deliver themselves. We were waiting with a commission here. But they did not appear at the prosecutor's office and they were not brought to the Headquarters, as Mr. Palavecino said last night that he was going to take them. I invited him to come here, but he has not appeared,” explained prosecutor Casals in dialogue with Misiones Online .

Faced with this scenario, the judicial official indicated that now the measures and judicial procedures of the file will continue. “It will depend on what your Honor -Judge Ricardo Balor- defines. There are still ordered measures pending compliance, which are the clearance, the seizure of vehicles, the restitution of force, and the recovery of all this . The judicial process will continue, and once the measures are guaranteed they can be executed,” he explained.

Some of the patrol cars held by the Misiones police stationed in front of the headquarters of the Radioelectric Command of Regional Unit I, in the heart of the city of Posadas.
After a Friday afternoon that took place between intense conversations and crossed versions, the agreement between the missionary Government and the Police faded . There was no official response to the opposing representation presented by the protesters. “ We made a proposal. And they didn't answer us anything. He was left on standby . We are respectful of that. They gave us their proposal. And we have ours. We tried to talk to them (by the Government). In the negotiations there is a push and pull,” Ramón Amarilla , another of the spokespersons for the uniformed men, told a press conference .

In this tug of war, the police representation gave up almost 15 points in their initial claim. Of a recomposition that implies a 100% increase in salaries, they were willing to accept 85%.

Even without an agreement between the parties, Governor Passalacqua used the social network In addition, he reiterated that since this Sunday the salaries of the central administration, retirees and pensioners were deposited.

“Starting tomorrow afternoon - this Sunday - the salaries of all public employees of Misiones will be settled in the Integrated Personnel Administration System (SIAP). The salaries with their respective increases of all central administration personnel, retirees, pensioners and provincial retirees will also be settled,” shared the provincial leader.

The salary increases announced by Governor Hugo Passalacqua for the Misiones Police are divided according to the performance area: North, Center, South and Capital.
Then, in a second tweet, he published the updated salaries for each rank of the Misiones Police and highlighted the difference between the April and May salaries that the uniformed personnel will receive in their pockets.

On this point, days ago, the Minister of General Cabinet Coordination, Héctor Ricardo “Kico” Llera , recalled that this is the “third increase in four months that the province has given.”

We have to be aware of the situation that the entire country is experiencing. We know that revenue and consumption fell, and at the national level many transfers and co-participation were cut. That is why we have to be responsible when giving a salary offer,” stressed Minister Llera, during a report for Canal Doce de Misiones.

While waiting for a superior proposal from Governor Passalacqua, the protesters do not give in and remain firm in the camp. "We're waiting. The dialogue was always open on our part, both the health personnel, the teaching sector and us, the security force. The government side believes that with their stay we are going to abandon, and we are prepared to be present ,” said a protest participant today in dialogue with the TN news channel .

Given the simultaneous protests carried out by the teaching, police and health sectors of Misiones, the provincial bishops issued a statement this Friday as a result of the conflict that broke out in that territory due to the demand for a salary increase.

In a text titled “The wisdom of dialogue” , signed by Monsignor de Posadas, Juan Rubén Martínez ; from Oberá, Damián Santiago Bitar ; and from Puerto Iguazú, Nicolás Baisi , assured that they are closely following “the serious events of these days.” “In complex situations like the one we are going through, we must avoid fueling confrontation and we must promote the wisest and most appropriate way to face our conflicts, which is the search for consensus through dialogue,” they reported.

“Close to the memory of the May Revolution, we call on rulers and citizens to take on the national events that opened with hope fundamental processes for our Nation, as a legacy that challenges us to continue working for justice and peace, paying special attention to the most needy. We invite all the People of God who are pilgrims in this Province to join in the masses and celebrations this weekend, to ask together Jesus Christ, the Lord of History, to grant us all the wisdom of dialogue and the joy of 'the hope that does not disappoint' (Rom 5:5)”, they added.

The Misiones police confirmed that the protest continues and pointed against the provincial government: “They have been there for 24 years”

Meanwhile, the camping in the street continues and the Misiones police assured that they will remain in protest. Along these lines, the spokesperson for the force, Ramón Amarilla , pointed out this afternoon against the provincial government and assured: “They have been here for 24 years.”

In addition, he noted that “there is no will” on the part of the authorities to resolve the “salary conflict.” “We have not had any counteroffer, here the government has decided, by decree, to unilaterally implement an increase and nothing more than 30%. Nothing more,” he commented in dialogue with TN .

“They didn't call us again and we hoped to be able to resolve this, because here it is a political decision. Let them tell me that there is no money... There is money here ,” she stressed and continued: “There is money. Now that they have the will to lift this... I don't understand what is happening to them. We are still in the same situation of being cold here. They treated us as seditionists and troublemakers. But we are on a quiet Sunday waiting for the government to resolve this.”

Likewise, he stressed that the intention of the government actors was to let "them suffer the cold weekend" to finally solve the problem "at the beginning of the week."

"On many occasions they told us: 'This is the model that you chose for government.' They have been here for 24 years. Nobody wants to destabilize anything, I don't know what they are talking about. We are police and prison officials. The only thing we want is to work but properly, with a decent salary, that we leave the necessary resources for our family to be able to go cover a guard and not be thinking about how I can pay for this. Unfortunately, this situation came to pass because of them , due to the lack of attention from the government that we need to be able to unblock all the salary conflicts,” Amarilla elaborated in conversation with the same medium.

Finally, he spoke about the problem related to the patrol cars that were used for the protest, and that were claimed by prosecutor René Casals . “We told the prosecutor to come look for the patrol cars, to come with his people and take everything. Here the demonstration belongs to the people,” he said. And he reiterated: “There is no will here. "They are looking for a culprit to put in prison instead of looking for a solution . "
