My life dream is to live in Palermo Hollywood

I lived there in a AirBNB from December 1 this year. I'm not from the USA but I don't qualify for any type of Visa

I loved it there so much mostly the absolutely beautiful women if you just walk around the streets every block I would see a woman that would make me say "I have a dream" like Martin Luther King. Also around the Palermo subway stop around 5pm each day the women are heavenly.

I feel like it has ruined my life and I will never be happy living anywhere else. Wherever I live from now I will compare it to Palermo Hollywood and be sad. I'm caught in a miserable trap.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: BA has beautiful women. Be careful, if you're not careful you will end up marrying one like many of us on the forum.

@PalermoHollywood where are you from? What do you do for work? BA is a great city but not that easy to make money here. Jobs pay very low.

Yes! I married a Porteña a while back. It is fairly easy to live here. I know many that have been permanent-tourists and have been here for many years. So far you can just pay a fee and overstay. Not ideal but many people do it. I have a friend that has been living here for over a decade doing this. After you live here 2 years you can apply for residency here. It is not like many countries where you will get deported but listen to Wally about tough to make money here. Ideally you have a remote job.

What do you love so much about it? Is this driven just by the females or is it more than just the females?

BA is great but got expensive. I did a long term lease last year and my condo fees have skyrocketed. A fun city but did you check out Rio? I just got back from there and it's half the cost of BA and the males (I am gay) and the females are beautiful. Many cities around South America with beautiful females. I agree BA is the best of the lot.

What is not to love here? You are right Palermo Hollywood is awesome! I would love to live in that neighborhood but it is more expensive. You an go out a bit further to Villa Crespo and it is cheaper. The women here are so gorgeous! I have been dating a local for a few months but it is very tempting to just date as there are so many beautiful girls here.

What country are you from @PalermoHollywood? Why does it matter that you aren't from the USA? Does that have any factor with type of visa? The process here is a pain in the ass. I tried it and gave up as immigration lawyers want to charge a fortune. I am too cheap to pay for a good lawyer. My girlfriend tried to help me but it is a nightmare with paperwork and Apostillized documents. Argentina is a nightmare with getting things translated. It is highway robbery what they want to charge.

No joke probably marrying a local is the quickest way to get a passport and be able to stay here forever. :ROFLMAO: I joke with my ex-girlfriend about that.

No joke! I just signed a lease earlier this year and just crazy how quickly the condo fees have gone up in a short amount of time. I heard Rio is insane. I have yet to go but many of my local friends are going there for vacation next month. Heard the girls there are beautiful too. I want to check it out.

What are you worried about?! You can just stay living in Buenos Aires without a visa. You must be the only gringo that is worried about it. My friends have been living in BA almost 2 years just on tourist visas. No one cares there! One was traveling around every 90 days but she gave up on that to save money and just pays a fine once she leaves the country. She has done it a few times now and no one seems to care.

The guys are hot in BA too from photos my girlfriends send me of guys they hook up with but no one wants to get serious they said. They are getting ready to leave BA when their lease expires. Said it got too expensive. One is in a nice building in Palermo Hollywood and her monthly hoa jumped up to almost $500 dollars a month!

What do you do for a living? It actually is not that difficult to set up getting a rentista visa if you have some income from abroad. I think it was originally for rental properties but I talked to someone that did it setting up a trust and just paying dividend income. Does not sound hard but like the others said you can pretty much stay in Argentina just paying a fine.

The girls here are great! Very dangerous with how many hot girls there are here. I have a girlfriend but sometimes I wish I didn't. Before we started dating exclusively I was going out a lot and having fun! Nothing beats BA for nightlife.

Just make sure if you move here you have enough $. Easy to spend money here going out every night. Before I settled down with my girlfriend I was going out a lot. I probably couldn't afford it now to go at the pace I was going. There are a lot of rich kids here that are living off parents money here. I am blown away by how many of my girlfriend's friends that don't seem to have a real job. Just from rich families that seem to have bought them their own apartment, pay all their bills and give them money to live each month.

I don't know how some of it do it as they are going out to eat every night. I'm on a US salary working remotely and wonder how some of them do it. I can't explain it other than their families pay all their bills. Palermo Hollywood is great! I'm in Soho now but I like Hollywood much better. Soho is tourist central but even over in Hollywood there are a lot of tourists but feels different.
