Last May, the Province of Buenos Aires once again showed a good number of sales. With 9,459 transactions, it was once again the best May since 2018.The month of May surprises again with the amount reported by the College of Notaries of PBA being the best May since the same month in 2018, when the boom in UVA credits occurred.
The amount shows a year-on-year growth of 22%, and compared to the previous month the increase is 24.18%.
It should also be noted that these numbers do not include “ticket transfers”, something very common in the province, especially in suburban markets (countries and gated communities). As we have been saying for months for both CABA and PBA, the drop in values would continue to drive demand and these are all data prior to even talking about the arrival of mortgage credit. It
should be remembered that in CABA in the same month the year-on-year increase was 36% with 4,590 deeds and the cumulative from January to May was the highest in the last 6 years.
