Interpreted by the Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón, the concert features the projection of some fragments of iconic Disney and Pixar films.
Disney and the Theater Colón present Pixar in Concert, a visual and musical that offers a screening of fragments of the iconic films from Disney and Pixar and the live performance of the Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón.
This concert is the sixth co-production between Disney and the Teatro Colón, which comes after the success of Disney in Concert: Symphony of Movies (2019), Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert (2020), Magic and Symphony (2022), Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert (2022) and Disney 100 in Concert (2023) which took place this year as part of the celebrations for Disney's 100th anniversary.
Pixar in Concert presents great hits like “When She Loved Me” from TOY STORY 2, “Si No Quiero” With You” by MONSTERS INC. (winner of the Oscar® award for Best Original Song in 2001), “Le Festin” RATATOUILLE, “Wind and Cielo Alcanzar” by VALIENTE, “Nobody Like You” by RED, and “Recuérdame” (winner of the Oscar® award for Best Original Song in 2018), “Un Poco Loco” and “El Latido de mi Corazón” by COCO, among others. In addition, this show has more than twelve artists, including singers and dancers, and brings together several of Pixar's most iconic characters, including where Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Merida meet.
