Expat Life: Local Discoveries, Global Connections

Situated in the contemporary district of Buenos Aires, specifically in the vibrant neighborhood of Puerto Madero, this restaurant specializes in premium cuts of meat.

Given our group size, we were accommodated in a private dining space, which was further enhanced by the lively performance of a couple of musicians playing tangos and milongas. The dining area boasts a rustic ambiance with decor reminiscent of a wine cellar adorned with barrels. The culinary experience commences with a meaty appetizer featuring empanadas, chorizo, black pudding, and provoleta cheese. Following this, a perfectly grilled entrecote is served, tailored to the preferred doneness of each diner. Adjusting to the local preference for well-done meat, it can be a bit challenging for them to grasp the concept of serving it less cooked. The feast is rounded out with offerings of mineral water and generous pours of Torrontés white wine. If you have an affinity for meat and find yourself in this neighborhood, a visit to this establishment is certainly worthwhile.

appetizer based on meat empanada, chorizo, black pudding and provoleta cheese. Then a grilled entrecote at the ideal point of each one. It is a little difficult for them to understand the fact of serving the meat undercooked, since the country in general has the habit of eating it well done. The agape is complemented by serving mineral water and a few glasses of Torrontés white wine at discretion.

I visited this spot a while back, and it wasn't exactly a budget-friendly place. I'd estimate the current cost to be around 15 dollars for a "Parrillada" (mixed grill with grilled meats like asado, vacío, morcilla, chorizo) served with French fries and bread. It can be for 2 or 3 people
