What is happening in Argentina now is just a harbinger for a much worse scenario in the coming year . I do not believe that most expats realise how bad it will get there in Buenos Aires when the economy tanks and the peso is worthless . 2001 will be a walk in the park compared to the next crash as there is no world economy to refloatt the argentinian economy due to the soya boom of the first years of Kirchners government.

The sh*t will definitely continue to keep hitting the fan. As I mentioned before, it doesn't matter the President in office.... Argentina can't ever solve their problems because of the systemic corruption, inefficiencies, red tape, taxes, system, etc.

I still don't think it will get as bad (or cheap) as 2001 as Perry predicts but who knows. Anything is possible when it comes to Argentina. The key is to stay on the sidelines and wait and if it happens to jump in. Things run in cycles.
