There is still no salary agreement between the troops and the provincial Executive Branch and the claim remains in the Posadas Radioelectric Command

There is still no salary agreement between the troops and the provincial Executive Branch and the camp remains

Once again the negotiations between the police stationed and the Government of Misiones failed, the claim in the Radioelectric Command remains and tension grows.

The fourth day of conflict culminated with an offer from the provincial Executive Branch that was rejected by the troops who continued to demonstrate at night.

This Monday afternoon, the Minister of Government, Marcelo Pérez, announced through his X account an “increase in police personnel.” “In accordance with what has been announced these days, the provincial government announces a new increase corresponding to the month of May for personnel who have a police status,” said the official. “Thus, for example, the salary of a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, who in January earned $510,941.10, will now receive $853,748. A senior commissioner in January will earn $553,103.5 in May, $965,782.94 ,” he said.

“These amounts correspond to the capital zone and are higher for the other zones. These increases also impact overtime and additional hours. This increase will be reflected in the settlement corresponding to this month of May,” Pérez explained. “We will continue working so that missionaries can recover their purchasing power in the face of the difficult scenario of national crisis, always striving for harmony, work and responsibility in the management of public affairs,” he concluded his message on social networks.

However, the police complaint against the Radioelectric Command, located on Uruguay Avenue in the missionary capital, not only persists, but intensified, especially with the arrival of 911 and Dispatch personnel, reported the Misiones Cuatro portal . The video that illustrates this note gives an account of the state of the situation late last night.

In this context, Ramón Amarilla , who serves as spokesperson for the police, dismissed Pérez's announcement and replied: “They are sending fruit . ” From a mobile phone with local media, he indicated that they would not accept the new offer from the Government of Misiones. They consider that this is a strategy to dissolve the camp that continues and even grew in size with the addition of more police officers from other areas of the force and towns in the province.

The El Territorio portal stated that in addition to the cut on Uruguay Avenue, there was an interruption of traffic on National Route 12, at the Santa Ana toll. A part of the teaching sector was there with posters expressing the salary demand. However, during this Monday different meetings were also held that focused on the salary issue within the framework of an announcement by the provincial government of an increase in all state areas.

Although hours later the governor of Misiones, Hugo Passalacqua , reached an agreement with the teaching unions and announced a salary increase , the negotiation with the delegates of the local police failed.

“The proposal that the Government has brought us is laughable, they have not improved anything nor was there an agreement. There will be no agreement because there is no political will to resolve this,” Amarilla said.

The police spokesperson warned that “ something very serious is coming here , all sectors are complaining and we are no exception. "It's a shame what they came to offer us, it doesn't even resemble what a police officer needs to get over the poverty line."

Furthermore, he emphasized that “the province is going to burn down for these people , they have not resolved anything with any sector. They wanted to pressure us to sign today, so that it has an impact at the end of the month. But we want the basic basket for police officers to be covered.

We are on the verge of a police strike in the province . We are not picketers, we are professionals who prepare to do police and prison work. But with these starvation wages, it is impossible to work. We are already played . People are getting more angry and we are going to have more support. Here we have more than 15 thousand people,” he argued in front of the press in Misiones.

In turn, Amarilla anticipated what the next steps in the conflict will be: “We continue with the camp and, unfortunately, we are going to continue until the last consequences ,” and added that “the negotiations were always cut off, we had to be there for eight days.” so that they attend to us. There is no political will . This governor, at the time, had also destroyed the dialogue table. They don't want to hear the truth .”

Finally, the Misiones police spokesperson ruled out a possible new meeting date: “We are waiting for them to become truly aware of this. They were asked what could happen, because there are many sectors that are coming here, not just the police. This is going to be very screwed up .”
