“There are still some economic advantages that make construction viable, especially when it comes to the cost of labor. Although inputs follow a rate above inflation (CAC Index), the housing replacement market, smaller and more particular, does not follow the general rules of the market,” Ginevra noted.
His advice leans toward exploring opportunities in purchasing new units, whether in the pipeline or under construction. These options allow for growth in value, generally accompanied by an increase in cost per m2.
