The RIGI is already impacting Argentina, and the State is beginning to withdraw: 8 affected sectors and a surprise

It will probably take a while to feel all of that $$$$ coming in. It sounds like these are huge projects that will take years and years to build.
Yes will take some time but company after company is announcing huge investments in Argentina. Another company just announced they were investing $400 million in the South of Argentina. Aluar.

Very true. Many companies are taking advantage of the RIGI. Billions of dollars are coming into Argentina and existing players like Mercado Libre have committed to investing more money in Argentina. Mercado Libre will invest $75 million and create 2,500 new jobs in Argentina. You can also see private individuals and companies that have more faith in Argentina. Take a look at US dollar deposits before and after President Milei came into office.

That number should keep going up and with the amnesty you will see that number shoot up over the next 2 years.

This is a good overview on Argentina's RIGI program.

Thanks. They need to make it easier for smaller companies too. These huge investments will probably not be felt for a long time.

Another HUGE investment was announced under Argentina's RIGI investment program. The British-Australian multi-national giant (world's 2nd largest metals & mining company) has announced a $2 BILLION investment to build a factory to process lithium in Salta. It also recently announced an investment of $350 million for the construction of a battery-grade lithium carbonate plant in its Rincón Litio project, which is estimated to be in production by the end of the year.

I saw that news this morning. That is a heck of a lot of money. These companies would never have invested this much money without the RIGI in place. It should be a win/win situation. This should create a lot of new jobs in the next few years.

More good news! This means more investment and opportunities for the country, especially in strategic sectors like lithium. Having companies like YPF, Galan Lithium, and Posco investing in projects in Catamarca and Salta is key to creating jobs and boosting the local economy. Plus, if these projects are managed well, Argentina could really strengthen its position in the global renewable energy market.
