The total number of real estate purchase and sale deeds registered an increase of 25.1% in the ninth month of 2023 compared to the level of a year before, adding 3,954 records, while the total amount of transactions carried out grew by 282. 1%, with $145,660 million.

Compared to August 2023, acts decreased by 4.38% (August 4,135 deeds).

At the end of the third quarter of the year, if compared to the same period in 2022, there is an increase of 18.12% with 27,352 deeds in total.

The average amount of the acts was $36,838,761 (100,391 dollars according to the average official exchange rate): it grew 205.5% in one year in pesos, and in US currency it rose 25.1%.

In September, there were 169 deeds formalized with a mortgage. Therefore, the increase in that sense is 43.2% compared to the same month last year. In the accumulated 9 months, the growth is 9.5% (1,130 in total).

It is evident from the data that the number of writings is still far from being similar to that of the best years. However, it could be stated that the performance is very acceptable given the current scenario where the exchange rate trap and a profound devaluation of the exchange rate coexist with the non-existence of mortgage credit and a deterioration in real income, enhanced by the climate of electoral uncertainty. The current level of real estate prices would appear as the central factor driving operations to which the growth observed could be attributed even in such an adverse context.
