Newcomer Traveling to Buenos Aires

I'll be traveling to Buenos Aires in late July. I'll appreciate info on weather: how cold, how to dress... ATMs availability. Your thoughts on the Park Central Kempinski Hotel. Best, safest way to travel from airport to hotel... Thanks!

Weather. Cold and wet. Dress warmly, but wear several layers of clothing because it is unusually warm in BA right now....

ATMs are available everywhere for withdrawing local currency, not dollars. Fees vary. Check with your bank...

There are better hotels than the Park Central...about the same price and location, NH Jousten....In Recoleta, try the Bel Air hotel or the Torre Argentina in Retiro...all about the same price....

From downtown...go through the surrounding cabs as you leave the customs area and find a free cab for taxis....it will cost you a few pesos to go downtown and is perfectly safe....a little more expensive, the cabs in the customs area...either for a private car or cab....

Less safe and not recommended: take a cab on the street. don't do it....
