During the winter holidays, Recoleta offers a special program to enjoy with the family from Tuesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 28, with free admission.
For two weeks there will be plays, circus performances, oral storytelling, cinema, recitals, workshops and activities in different spaces of the cultural centre, as well as guided tours.

The Winter Theme Park opens its doors to enjoy the holidays​


Local residents and tourists will be able to visit the park until July 27 with free admission. The main attraction will be the skating rink. There will also be a giant slide, an air challenge area and a karting circuit.

Radio de la Ciudad will be using its mobile studio to broadcast its regular programming live on Monday, July 15 from 12 to 6 p.m., and Canal de la Ciudad will broadcast live from Parque de la Ciudad.

There will also be a collection of toys in good condition to be distributed on Children's Day in institutions that provide care and assistance to children.

The following people are participating in this event: the Tourism Board, the Ministry of Health, BA Capital Gastronómica, City Fairs, the Council of Children and Adolescents, Economic Development (Creative Industries), the Ministry of Public Space and Urban Hygiene, the Ministry of Education, Human Development, the Environment Secretariat, the Public Prosecutor's Office, Social Inclusion, Radio Ciudad, and Canal de la Ciudad.

How to get to the City Park

📍Location: 4000, Gral. Francisco Fernández de la Cruz Av.


📆 Dates: from Friday, July 12 to Saturday, July 27
🕛 Hours: from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parking: capacity for 1880 cars on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Pedestrian and vehicle access: Av. Roca 4151
Pedestrian access: Calle 23 de Junio 4300

Public transport:

  • Buses : lines 91 and 115. These drop off passengers 6 blocks from the entrance to the City Park via Barrio Olímpico (via Metrobus Av. Roca). Lines 101, 114, 143, 145 and 150 (via Metrobus Av. Fernández de la Cruz).
  • Premetro : get off at Parque de la Ciudad station. This transport has a connection to the Buenos Aires subway network.
  • Train : Belgrano Sur, getting off at the Villa Soldati station (Av. Lafuente 3053). From there, connect with Premetro to Parque de la Ciudad station or take the 101 -branch B- towards Pte. Alsina and get off at Av. Fernández de la Cruz at 4300, where the main entrance is located.
