This is something I am concerned about. It seems like we have seen this song and dance before. Very true that no one has gotten a surplus but the situation is still dire. It sounds like this exchange rate mismatch is causing the currency to be too strong and companies are starting to close now...

Yep. This kind of corruption is all institutionalized. My local friends say that Milei will probably have to agree to look the other way with a lot of it if he is going to make progress on other things he wants to do. I just hope he doesn't get sucked into any of it.

I like cheese as much as the next guy but they really overdo it in Buenos Aires. Half the time I see people leaving tons of cheese on their plates. It just seems like a waste.
