First time in 11 years that Argentina is back on Kearney Foreign Direct Investment Confidence Index of most reliable countries for foreign investments

For sure foreign investment should explode in Argentina with Milei as President. He is meeting with Elon Musk in a few days in Texas. Imagine if Tesla invests in Argentina. The other companies will follow.
Very true. First time in a while that several colleagues in the oil industry are telling me they are heading back to Buenos Aires for work meetings. It has been a while but companies are looking to enter Argentina now.

Looks like your colleagues were correct! After the Omnibus law passed tons of investments! 5 Projects valued at over USD 39 Billion in investments. This will bring thousands of jobs to Argentina.

-YPF-Petronas US$ 30 billion
-BHP/Lundin (copper) US$ 5 billion
-BHP/Lundin (copper) US$ 3 billion
-TGS (gas pipeline) US$ 700M
-Sidersa (metallurgical) US$ 300M

That passing of the Omnibus was huge. It opened the door for many foreign investors to come into Argentina. Only thing that is a negative is things here will get expensive again.

Yes my girlfriend's father is in finance here and he said that things are going to explode here. If you research it used to be $1 dollar = 1 Peso and it was very expensive here. It could go back to that. I am trying to rush and buy a place here before prices keep going up.

None of this would have happened without the Omnibus law passing. People can see what happens once President Milei is able to put forward his ideas. Foreign investments are key to Argentina's success.

Yep. Companies are flat out saying that without it, no way they would invest. And the bonehead Axel Kicillof is seeing how going against it cost him big time.

It is true that Argentina will probably get very expensive again. 🙁
I also fear this. I do want to see things improve for the country and locally but my biggest fear is that as the country improves things will become very expensive here. I wonder if prices here will ever be priced in dollars again like previously when it was very expensive here. If that happens, I would potentially be priced out here. And so would others that are operating on fixed incomes or social security payments.

Pfizer and Sinergium to invest $20 million in Argentina to produce a pneumonia vaccine: it will be exported to 30 countries with a potential of $100 million annually.

The country will be the first to produce it in Latin America and the second globally, behind Belgium. Argentina is positioning itself as a regional leader in vaccine production thanks to a historic agreement between Pfizer and Sinergium Biotech. This collaboration will allow for the local manufacturing of the 20-valent pneumococcal vaccine (VCN20), also known as Prevenar-20, at Sinergium's plant located in Garín, Buenos Aires province.

Investment: $20 million allocated for training, engineering works, and acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment.Production: An estimated 10 million doses will be manufactured annually.Export: The vaccine will be exported to 30 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.Economic Potential: Foreign currency income is projected to be close to $100 million annually.

Regional and Global ImpactArgentina will become the first country to produce this vaccine in Latin America and the second worldwide, after Belgium. This achievement positions the country as a key player in the production of highly complex vaccines, improving accessibility for the entire region.

Wow I had no idea they were aspiring to become a leader in vaccine production.

Who would have thought Argentina producing all of these vaccines. Something tells me more and more things will come from Argentina.
