Real Estate Sales Looking for advice to put my Condo solely in my name

Taxes are 21% of the rent received on the property, or deemed to have been received. If the property was empty and you were out of the country you will be deemed to have been renting the property unless you can prove is was empty. There will also asset taxes (bienes personales). On any unpaid...

Taxes Ques on pay in the UK. Anyone from the UK?

The basic sounds terrible for a middle management position, I was earning more than that in 1989 !. With an allowances of £2,000-£3,000 PCM it sounds more appealing. For UK residents the first £8105 is tax free then the tax rate 20%,then after £34,370 the rate rises to 40%. There is also...

Real Estate Sales Do I need a Real Estate Agent or just an Escribano?

You dont need an agent, but if your property is selling for more than 600,000 pesos you will need a COTI. You can do this yourself online if you have a Clave Fiscal. It takes about 10 minutes once you have all the relevant information.

Economy Capital Flight Fell to $1.61B in Q1

I might comment on how this is just a short-term fix and blah blah blah but I also read that inflation was under control because of Cristina's efforts at a beautiful 9%. I don't really care for numbers released by Argentina anymore.

    Newcomer Totally Disgusted

It never fails that someone brings up the US when Argentina is the subject. Of course there are some rotten apples among the NYPD police but corruption is not the NORM there as it is in Argentina. I suppose even the NYPD police who took bribes have the decency not to leave a woman unconscious...

    Newcomer Totally Disgusted

This is why you cant inform the police when your place is burglarized. The police will come and case your place and then later rob you. It's all very sad. When BA was cheap there were a lot of expats defending Argentina, finding excuses for every problem, saying how it is just as bad in the US...
