Argentina ranked as #2 of nation of women with the biggest butts

I don't trust this data. I live in Brazil and I don't see them on the list. No way this could be correct.

Real Estate Sales Another micro-neighborhood of Buenos Aires' Palermo - Palermo Freud

Wow I haven't looked in BA since last year. Are prices really going for above $4,300 now in Palermo?? @FuturoBA were prices this high when you bought? You said you bought in this building? What were prices like and when did you buy? Are they moving up this quickly now?

    Newcomer Mosquito invasion in BA

Yes I agree. We have had a lot of deaths here in Brazil. Much worse than in Argentina.

Economy Milei confirmed that the issuance of pesos will be stopped and suggested people take their dollars out of the mattress - Infobae

But what does this guy think that everyone has USD all hidden under their mattress at home?? Yes, some wealthy but not the masses. No?

Banking What is going on with the Blue dollar? Why is it going down?

@Larry it looks like you were correct that it keeps getting more expensive. How is the dollar staying so weak and seems to stay around 1,000 pesos to $1USD while general inflation of the peso keeps going up. How do they manipulate it like that???

Politics Thread: President Javier Milei - Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) in real-time

Everyone outside of Argentina seems to be jumping on the Milei bandwagon. I even read how RFK Jr. is going to follow Milei's lead. I didn't even know RFK Jr. was running for President of the USA...

Buenos Aires one of the most affordable Gay Friendly Cities in the World

I agree surprising to see Montevideo on that list. The others are usual suspects minus Budapest. I did not know it was known as a big gay friendly scene.

My sister said the stores she visited also are discounting the prices they marked up before because it wasn't selling. She see many discounts going on.

Food & Drink One of the best seafood and ceviche restaurants in all of Buenos Aires - La Mar, Cebicheria Peruana

Thank you for posting the updated photos and prices. I like that place. On the more expensive side but the ceviche prices look about the same as I always pay there.

What are you favorite things about living in Buenos Aires as an Expat or living in Argentina if not living in BA?

I love all the cultural events of a big city. Here in Floripa there are limited things to do but in BA I can do anything I want. Love going to plays and theatres there. Love energy of the city.

Politics ‘All feminists are under attack’: ultra-right threat in Milei’s Argentina forces writer into exile

To make matters worse, the head of the agency didn't exactly boost its credibility. Turns out, she treated her domestic employee like a modern-day slave, paying a laughable "salary" under the table. When she decided to legitimize the work arrangement, she conveniently offered the poor employee a...

What happens if Argentina gets too expensive? What are alternative cities/countries to move to when it's overpriced in Argentina?

This ^^^^^ I live in Brazil. Rio is an expensive city relatively speaking. São Paulo too. In both cities you really have to watch yourself, especially if you're clearly a gringo. They tend to prey more on people that don't seem like they live there. The example of the robbery and not...

I am finally heading to Rio after living in Buenos Aires for 8 years. How safe is Rio compared to Buenos Aires?

I used to live in Ipanema for a few years, and I'd walk around the southern zone (zona sul) every day, which is quite a big area. Personally, I felt "safe enough" and enjoyed a good quality of life, but I did witness a fair share of incidents: There was a shootout with automatic weapons...

What is the future of the Art and Cinema world under President Milei with all the funding cuts?

Well, sure, anything's possible in the wild world of politics, but this four-month Milei marathon seems a bit out there, doesn't it? Time's the ultimate storyteller, I guess. But between you and me, I'm crossing my fingers for a touch of sanity, especially when it comes to arts funding. Let's...

What happens if Argentina gets too expensive? What are alternative cities/countries to move to when it's overpriced in Argentina?

Oh, gather 'round, folks, because I've got a real estate deal that's hotter than a sizzling churrasco! So, here's the scoop: I'm willing to swap my cozy pad in the super-safe haven of Florianopolis for a property of equal awesomeness in Buenos Aires. We're talking good neighbors, room for days...
